Biography
Jessica Person serves as Dean of Spiritual Life at Palm Beach Atlantic University, where she provides theological and strategic leadership for Chapel, Discipleship, worship, evangelism, and missions. Her work focuses on cultivating a vibrant Christian community and creating opportunities for students to integrate Christian faith, learning, and practice throughout their university experience.
Person’s scholarly interests are in Practical Theology in the domains of Christian worship and spiritual formation. Her doctoral research explores the theology and practices of Christian worship, with particular attention to the ways worship forms Christian communities and shapes faithful participation in the life and mission of the Church. Her research draws especially upon the theological tradition of Thomas Aquinas and its resources for contemporary evangelical theology and practice. She is a PhD candidate in Practical Theology at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
